Bill Callahan lost another games based purely on coaching. Calling a fake punt early in the game and turning the ball over inside our 20 to allow an easy touch down. Then in the fourth quarter a terrible 3rd and 11 play then going for it on 4th instead of trying the long field goal to tie the game.
He needs to coach to give the team the best chance to win the game. Today he blew it. The team played great, but 3 coaching calls lost the game. Nebraska virtually owned the first half of the game. The two turn overs let Auburn back in the game. One was an interception off a tipped ball, that happens. The fake punt is inexcusable.
Callahan needs figure out how to coach to win a college football game. Don't try fake punts in the first half unless you are way down and score enough points to put a team out early.
